Formotion together with Match Hotch Designs has created this
exquisite rectangular Trigger.
Genuinely sensational wristwatches are rare - so too are watches
adorned on motorcycles that have true unique design brilliance
and unmatched quality. Formotion's Trigger is one such
timepiece. When mounted, the Trigger "becomes" part of the
bike as it melts into the chrome. Got a "nice" ride you've
invested in - don't cheap-out - run a Trigger on it.
Each model is as unique as your bike; with beautiful face
details including black OR white natural Mother of Pearl,
Diamond, Sand Blasted Chrome, or unique brushed face treatments.
The stainless steel case is hand polished to a mirror finish and
will provide years of outdoor exposure to the elements
effortlessly with minimal upkeep. Mother of Pearl Face
304 (18/8) Grade Stainless Steel construction houses a Citizen
movement constructed in the same fashion as fine wristwatches.
The entire movement is housed in the case, making the movement,
case, stem and Sapphire bezel as one structural design element.
(This is not an inexpensive press-fit watch into a mounting's
opening) Rated to 3ATM water resistant, each watch is
meticulously hand produced, tested and certified to meet
Formotion's rigid quality standards - that's quality you can
trust.

Matt Hotch on Designing The
Trigger
Asked how he’d describe his style of bike, Matt replies, “The thing
that got me noticed was hiding all the cables, the ultra- sanitary look.
I saw a lot of nice customs being built but they all had wires and
cables just dangling all over the place. I’ve always built my bikes
around the components, around the cables and wires; even if I could just
find an inch, it would be make a difference.

I guess you’d call my bikes Super Radicals and they’re bought
by customers with a lot of money but who also appreciate the bikes as
works of art. They give me free rein, exactly where I want to be.
I applied the exact same freedom into Formotion's Trigger.
I wanted a clock that my customers would want on their bikes,
that I would want. Ok, maybe they ask Formotion to add
diamonds and jewels, but these are the coolest "production"
timepieces I think you can buy. They're simple and elegant
and are only noticed when you want them to be - I designed them
to become "part" of the motorcycle and Formotion added their
quality and precision that they are known for.”
MOUNTING

The Trigger mounts in minutes: Simply split the half
shell of the Triggers band, position it over your handlebars and
tighten the halves together using the hex head screw with the
enclosed Hex tool and you're finished! Set the time and go.

What's 304 (18/8) Stainless
Steel?
|
Grade 304 is the standard "18/8" stainless; it is the most versatile and most widely used stainless steel, available in a wider range of products, forms and finishes than any other. It has excellent forming and welding characteristics. The balanced austenitic structure of Grade 304 enables it to be severely deep drawn without intermediate annealing, which has made this grade dominant in the manufacture of drawn stainless parts such as sinks, hollow-ware and saucepans. For these applications it is common to use special "304DDQ" (Deep Drawing Quality) variants. Grade 304 is readily brake or roll formed into a variety of components for applications in the industrial, architectural, and transportation fields. Grade 304 also has outstanding welding characteristics. Post-weld annealing is not required when welding thin sections. |
